HISTORY
FAI Foundation was founded in 2018 with a mission to improve the general wellbeing vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in Uganda.
It was later registered with the Uganda Registration Service Bureau and other authorities in 2021 as a charity organisation. The formation of this Foundation was motivated by the unmet need identified in the areas of Mpunge subcounty witnessed during the community needs assessment and confirmed by local authorities including the District Health Office and subcounty chief. The untold story of mothers dying at home due to absence of Emergency Medical Services to reach higher level health facilities, is something that the foundation intends to address.
